Bit of a Toothiana preview! I like this shot since it shows the details of the circle lenses - this was my first time trying KISS lenses and I absolutely loved them, they were super comfortable and really added to the "non-human" quality of Tooth's appearance ~
Note: This was my first time making a latex prosthetic! It was extremely fun, I really enjoyed sculpting the details (which took around seven hours). That being said, the cast came out pretty rough; I made the mistake of casting this prosthetic with a latex that was way too rigid, which led to there being a very thick edge, and using liquid latex over the edge didn't do much to help lessen it. It was super distracting so I choose to use the clone tool in Photoshop to get rid of it. Before I wear the costume again I'm going to remake it; I've done some more research and apparently foam latex would have been the appropriate choice for this sort of application (whoops!), since it can be stretched and torn to create a paper-thin edge that will blend really easily. So please forgive the editing! Not trying to deceive or trick anyone, just wanted to make these photos useable after all the hard work my friends and I did to get the bodysuit done!

The feathers for the headdress are turkey wing rounds! They were white, then I gradient-colored them by hand with Copics. I ordered mine from Rainbow Feather Co.
OH. MY. GODS. and just last night i was thinking about making a feathery mask and i come on your page and i see this in the sidebar somewhere when replying and... oh my gosh, i'm just speechless. O.O that does not look like a mask in any shape or form, you've actually transformed into toothiana. from now on, i dub the latex mask as The Man in the Moon. because it made you toothiana. but you didn't have to die first, so that's good. ^^' hope the latex foam goes well.
SO MANY FEATHERS! O.O no wonder you needed your friends to help glue. O.O
