I got some Cyclone pictures back from Leonard, so expect a few of those to be mixed in with the ACEN photos~! :D

It was sooo windy on Sunday of C2E2 - perfect for a Cyclone photoshoot! Even though I had to take off my hat halfway through because it kept getting blown off and I didn't want it to get swept away into Lake Michigan! :faint:

I've always been wary about where to jump into DC or Marvel comics (since they've been running since the '30s) and I usually like to start at the beginning of whatever it is I'm learning about, so I for lack of a proper guide I've just avoided reading the "classic" super hero comics altogether, meaning anything I do know is second-hand off of a show/movie/game. That said, I'd never heard of Cyclone until you started cosplaying her and for whatever reason I really DID want to know about her. So I searched around and found some copies of The Justice Society of America series and just started reading. 26 issues; some confusion; some good and bad story arcs later, I'm glad I did.

And for me, that's the reason why cosplay is beautiful, for it's ability to let someone channel their love of a story or character into the real world to share with everyone.
Anyway, I look forward to a picture when you're wearing the hat! And maybe have Frankie the monkey as well? :)

Aw, I'm glad to hear it!! :D I definitely agree, that's one of the best aspects of cosplay.

I do have her hat, but it was so windy that I was afraid of it blowing into the lake during our shoot. xD And I'm planning to make Frankie this summer so I'll have him once Courtney's done with Stargirl!
