Hi all, I'm Nina! Better known as "Sirene" in the cosplay scene. Or "CatalystSirene". Or "Hythe" on Tumblr. Whichever works! I'll answer to any of 'em!

I've been into cosplay for about four years now, and I don't see this obsession ending any time soon! I cosplay both anime and video game characters (although I prefer the latter), and lately I've been getting into Western comic characters, too.

I currently attend Columbia College Chicago, where I'm studying fashion business. During the summer, I live in southeast Michigan with my family that consists of two parents, a brother, and one trust border collie who thinks he can herd SUVs.

Hey all! I'm so, so sorry that I haven't been very active these past few weeks as far as posting deviations goes! Things are getting pretty crazy - between finals and finishing stuff for cons, I've barely had time to sleep!

C2E2 last weekend was amazing. Seriously, it was one of the best convention experiences I've ever had! I'd never been to a true comic con before, and I have to say, it was a totally different experience from an anime con. I can't wait to go to the next one! :D

And now, on to ACEN! I cannot believe this con is happening in 7 days, I'm so not ready! ;_____; I have so much to finish for Ty Lee, along with last-minute stuff for Stocking and Rarity. And on top of all that, I have final projects to worry about, too! Ugh, ACEN, you are happening at the most inconvenient time possible!!

Anyway, here's an updated cosplay list for next weekend! (Fingers crossed everything gets done in time...!)

ACEN
Thursday: Yuki Nagato (gym uniform); fox kigurumi
Friday: Princess Bubblegum; Ty Lee (beach outfit)
Saturday: Fawn; Ty Lee (regular outfit); Stocking (traffic cop)
Sunday: Rarity (Sweet & Elite outfit)

Impulse..... maybe. or atleast a young Wally west who's taken over as flash from Barry Allen after his "death"

Tim drake...cool as Robin...I wish they were using the new 52 nightwing costume for Dick.


I've never read young justice comics, or teen titans....but I thought when i saw SB in blackest night he could fly.... whats up with this version?
